 With an impressive season finished, the WAZA 94 Kelly Boys team has managed to capture the Premier 2 division title with an impressiove 7-1-1 record and will now be moving on to Premier 1!   Also, another feather in their cap for the season is that they competed in three tournaments this year and WON all three in their age bracket!  This is a fantastic achievment and we congratulate them on a great season!!!

With an impressive 3-0 victory run in their bracket beating the Dexter Blitz 4-0, Macomb United 7-0 and Phoenix 1-0, they then went to the final and played against the Clawson Strikers and won 4-0!  Congratulations ladies on a great tournament!!!

Congratulations to the Boys U14 Black team for clinching the Midwest Regional League Premier Red Division!!!

With an impressive season winning record of 6-1-0 and only allowing a single goal all season, the Boys U14 Black team will now advance on to the Regionals in Illinois this June.  The MRL is one of the top levels of play in the country. We are proud of the WAZA 94 Boys Black team and what they have accomplished. All of us at WAZA wish them all the best for the regional competitions.  Good luck boys and as always...

Congratulations WAZA Boys 96 Royal!

Eight players from our Waza 96 Royal boys’ team, a player from the Waza Royal 95 boys’ team, and one other guest combined to win the Detroit Ignition four team Turf Time tournament (U12 & U13) on March 9^th.  They beat the Pirates 7-0 in the first round before closing out Waterford 3-0 in the championship game.

The U12 WAZA Girls Combo team won a 4-3 victory in overtime against the Michigan Gators 96, ranked #2 in the state, at High Velocity on March 1 - 2, 2008.  This is the first Waza FC girls national championship!

3.  Beat "Michigan Gators 97 Blue" (Michigan):  3-2
